2-04 Seated Wrist Grip Counter

The seated variation of the wrist grip counter, as you may have guessed, is not all that different from the vanilla arm drag from seated guard. Your opponent grabs your wrist, and you use his insistence on maintaining his grip to attack with an arm drag. After countering a few of his grips in this manner, he will hesitate to set new ones for fear of being sucked into an arm drag. By forcing your opponent to second guess himself, even if you never successfully complete the arm drag, you gain a significant psychological advantage that can payoff later in the match.
