Note: Requires Access to Mastering the Crucifix by Matt Kirtley
The arm drag is a quick and simplistic way to make your seated guard game more aggressive, and it lends itself to attacking an opponent kneeling to pass your guard or standing to pass your guard. At the same time, the seated guard can also be an opportunity to transition into the crucifix or to force your opponent to turtle, where you can work for traditional back-takes or work to again attack the crucifix.
